Job Summary

The PMO Director will conduct long-range planning for the organization's facilities and services, implementing solutions and projects as approved. Primary project focus areas will be operational growth, expansion, and optimization. Project areas will include (but are not limited to) acquisition of commercial real estate for conversion into patient residences or programming centers and Mergers & Acquisitions. The PMO Director will partner with Shared Services department heads on ensuring program management success.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serves as a liaison with executives, departments heads, and board members, to ensure that organizational goals are met.
  • Construct detailed work plans that align projects with business objectives.
  • Drafts schedules for implementation of long-range plans and proposals.
  • Monitors project progress, drafting and distributing periodic progress reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
  • Oversees the daily workflow related to projects and their development.
  • Performs due diligence and research activities to ensure informed and accurate project execution.
  • Performs risk management analysis to reduce project risks.
  • Coordinate resource availability and allocation necessary for project.
  • Develop a wide array of visually appealing and easily consumable artifacts to demonstrate project dependencies, progression, milestones, etc.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. Assist management team with budget creation and timelines.
  • Ensures projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA preferred. PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • At least five years of related experience required with healthcare.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
