Job Summary

The Plumbing Service Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and controlling plumbing service repair work, small projects, and contract-driven plumbing activities. This role serves as the primary owner of plumbing service projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. The position focuses on commercial plumbing service, repairs, tenant improvements, and small projects, working closely with field technicians, customers, subcontractors, and branch leadership. The Project Manager ensures projects are executed in compliance with company standards, contractual requirements, and applicable codes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Plan, manage, and execute plumbing service repair work and small-to-medium plumbing projects from estimate through closeout.
• Prepare project budgets, job cost forecasts, and monthly financial updates.
• Monitor labor productivity, material usage, subcontract costs, and margins.
• Ensure projects are managed in accordance with company financial goals and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate daily project activities including labor scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Provide technical and administrative direction to plumbing technicians assigned to projects.
• Ensure work is completed in compliance with plumbing codes, company standards, and customer specifications.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on assigned plumbing projects.
• Maintain strong working relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, engineers, and inspectors.
• Maintain and enforce a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA and company safety compliance.
• Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Maintain accurate project records including schedules, budgets, job costs, and correspondence.
• Provide regular project status updates to branch and service leadership.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline preferred.
• High school diploma or GED, associate degree or vocational/technical training in Plumbing Technology, Construction Management, Mechanical Systems, or a related trade discipline or similar experience.
• 3+ years of experience managing commercial plumbing service work, repairs, or small projects.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, codes, and service operations.
• Demonstrated experience with job costing, scheduling, and subcontract coordination.
• Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project/service management software.
• OSHA or equivalent safety training preferred.

Compensation Range: $94,000 - $120,000 per year
