Job Title: Plumbing Project Manager As a Plumbing Project Manager, your purpose is to lead, direct, train, and develop your team. You will be required to manage plumbing projects in the 1,000,000+ project range. You will need to be experienced, goal driven, and a good communicator.
Pay$95,000 to $120,000 annually - Pay Rate Determined in Interview.
Your Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Execution- Manage multiple plumbing projects simultaneously, including commercial and industrial work
- Oversee project lifecycle: estimating support, planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and company standards
Leadership & Team Oversight- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field staff
- Coordinate with Plumbing Foremen and Superintendents to ensure field productivity
- Conduct regular project meetings and performance reviews
Financial Management- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Review and approve subcontractor/vendor invoices
- Identify and manage change orders and cost impacts
- Ensure projects meet or exceed gross profit targets
Client & Stakeholder Relations- Serve as primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, and stakeholders
- Maintain strong relationships to support repeat business and client satisfaction
- Participate in project negotiations and contract reviews
Risk Management & Compliance- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies
- Monitor contract compliance and manage disputes when necessary
Pre-Construction & Estimating Support- Assist estimating team with budgets, value engineering, and constructability reviews
- Participate in bid reviews and project handoff meetings
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 7-10+ years of plumbing project management experience in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and installation practices
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects ($1M-$10M+)
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
