Position SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and analytical Plumbing Project Manager to oversee commercial plumbing projects from planning through project closeout. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements and quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Prepare and manage project estimates, labor forecasts, material procurement, and equipment planning.
- Monitor project financial performance, including cost tracking, forecasting, billing, and change order management.
- Administer contracts and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Supervise field operations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate project milestones and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Lead and mentor project teams, including superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors.
- Maintain effective communication with owners, general contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, industry standards, and company safety policies.
- Prepare regular project status reports, budget updates, and executive summaries for senior management.
- Promote continuous improvement in project execution and operational efficiency.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience managing commercial plumbing and fire protection construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and change order management.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Procore.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, construction safety practices, and quality control processes.
