Position Description: Platform & Infrastructure Administrator
As the Platform & Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational integrity of the ecosystems. You will manage Power Platform environments, tenant settings, security models, Azure resources, network connectivity, and enterprise integrations while ensuring compliance with client's governance and security standards. You will support the deployment and operation of low code, pro code, and AI enabled solutions by providing technical expertise, troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, establishing governance guardrails, and continuously improving the platform's security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Core Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Governance
. Administer and maintain Client's Power Platform environments, tenant settings, policies, and governance controls.
. Manage environment lifecycle activities including provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and decommissioning.
. Establish and enforce governance standards across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio, and Dataverse.
. Manage connectors, environment permissions, licensing, and administrative controls.
. Support platform monitoring, health checks, capacity management, and operational reporting.
Security & Access Management
. Design and maintain security role models across Power Platform and supporting services.
. Configure and manage role based access controls (RBAC).
. Partner with CorpSec and security teams to ensure adherence to enterprise security standards.
. Implement and maintain Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and connector governance.
. Conduct regular reviews of permissions, privileged access, and administrative accounts.
. Support security assessments, audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance initiatives.
Azure & Cloud Infrastructure
. Administer Azure resources supporting A&S solutions and services.
. Manage Virtual Networks (VNets), private connectivity, security groups, routing, and cloud networking configurations.
. Support cloud to on premises and cloud to cloud integrations.
. Collaborate with Azure and infrastructure teams to design secure and scalable architectures.
. Monitor cloud resources to ensure performance, availability, and cost effectiveness.
. Support implementation of enterprise networking and security requirements.
Enterprise Connectivity & Hosting
. Support connectivity between Power Platform, Azure services, ICN environments, on premises systems, APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
. Troubleshoot integration, networking, authentication, and connectivity issues.
. Support hybrid architectures involving cloud and internal Client infrastructure.
. Coordinate firewall requests, network changes, DNS configurations, certificates, and load balancing requirements as needed.
. Ensure solutions can operate securely across enterprise boundaries.
Application & Server Administration
. Support and maintain application hosting environments.
. Work with .NET based applications and services deployed within the A&S ecosystem.
. Manage Windows server environments and supporting infrastructure components.
. Support application deployments, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities.
. Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure requirements are properly defined and implemented.
Operations & Troubleshooting
. Act as an escalation point for complex platform, infrastructure, and operational issues.
. Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions.
. Identify and resolve issues related to networking, authentication, permissions, integrations, and platform performance.
. Develop operational procedures and technical documentation.
. Continuously improve monitoring, alerting, automation, and operational processes.
Continuous Improvement & Technical Leadership
. Stay current with Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise security best practices.
. Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements that increase platform scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
. Contribute to the governance, architecture, and platform strategy.
. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
Platform Analytics & Reporting
. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on Power Platform adoption, usage, governance compliance, and operational health.
. Track and communicate key platform KPIs, including active users, solution inventory, license consumption, environment capacity, and DLP compliance.
. Monitor trends, identify risks and optimization opportunities, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership.
. Leverage Power BI, Power Platform Admin Center analytics, CoE Starter Kit, and Azure monitoring tools to support data driven decision making.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Qualifications
Experience
. 5+ years of experience in System Administration, Platform Administration, Infrastructure Administration, Cloud Administration, or a similar technical role.
. Experience supporting enterprise scale platforms and applications.
. Experience working in highly regulated or governance focused environments.
. Experience collaborating across infrastructure, security, cloud, and application development teams.
Technical Skills
. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform administration.
. Experience managing Power Platform environments, DLP policies, connectors, tenant settings, and security controls.
. Solid understanding of Azure administration and cloud architecture.
. Experience with:
o Virtual Networks (VNets)
o Networking and connectivity
o Identity and access management
o Azure security controls
o Hybrid cloud architectures
. Experience administering Windows server environments.
. Understanding of .NET application hosting and deployment.
. Strong understanding of authentication protocols, enterprise integrations, APIs, and connectivity patterns.
. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise identity services.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000-$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
