Job Description:

Plant/Site Director - Yorkville and Topeka

The Plant/Stie Director has primary responsibility for providing Associates a safe, rewarding, and engaging environment with the opportunity for growth. This role enables manufacturing of superior branded products and serving our customers through an efficient pipeline, offering excellence in customized solutions, logistics, and customer service.

What are we looking for?
  • Minimal Bachelor's degree, preferably with Engineering, Industrial Engineer and or Food Science qualifications. Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a lead manufacturing management role with demonstrated ability to lead/engage people and teams.
  • Previous experience as Plant Manager (within Food/CPG industry preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience and training in Food Safety, Associate Safety, Supply Chain Practices.
  • Demonstrated skillsets acquired through execution in multiple operating functions: Operations Management, Continuous Improvement, Technical (Engineering/ Maintenance), Industrial Engineering, and/or Quality.
  • Progressive experience in leading advanced Continuous Improvement methodologies through TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of operations practices, food and drug laws, food safety, associate safety and OSHA requirements, factory P&L, as well supply chain optimization practices.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Strategy Development and Implementation

Develop supply strategies which deliver the growth and profit objectives of the business in total.

Ensure that the manufacturing site has a development plan / site strategy which is consistent with and supports the business objectives. Provide facilities enhancement requirements as an input to the enterprise capital process to drive improvements. Supports the Central Manufacturing and Supply function in the required trade off process. Works with Supply network to drive overall excellence across the business supply chain. Partners with Demand teams to develop and exercise strategies to support Brand growth

Business Performance

For the segment, deliver or exceed agreed business performance metrics in the areas of safety, quality, costs, customer service, and business strategy deployment, etc.

Champion the ideal of "World Class" pipeline management and ensure that all performance metrics, activities and resources are aligned to achieve this ideal.
