Job PurposeThe
CNH New Holland Plant is seeking a
Manufacturing Quality Supervisor to join our team. As part of the Quality Assurance team this position is responsible for the planning, coordinating and effective utilization of people, materials, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities-Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to and enforcing CNH safety programs, policies and regulations.
-Supervise and direct the activities of the Metrology Technician(s), Torque Technician(s), Quality Auditor(s), PPAP Coordinator(s) and Receiving Inspector(s).
-Prioritize the work and shift resources to ensure Quality Assurance objectives are met.
-Assist in coordinating operating budgets and monitors results to assure departmental objectives are achieved.
-Participate in setting up the work practices for the areas supervised and ensure they are maintained to meet or exceed the CNH policies.
-Plan activities with the Quality Engineers and other partners to ensure all necessary work is completed in a timely manner, while meeting CNH conformance standards and objectives.
-Coordinate the activities for the disposition of Supplier parts & internal non-conforming product.
-Champion the supplier quality improvement program to implement containment and drive implementation of robust countermeasures for most impactful supplier quality issues affecting the plant and customer.
-Identify, report and root cause sources of quality problems which occur in manufacturing and take steps to assure corrective action.
-Analyze field failure reports and returned parts to understand the source of error and initiate appropriate corrective action to preclude reoccurrence.
-Provide quality assurance support and guidance to production, manufacturing engineering, suppliers and product engineering programs.
-Maintain required levels of inventory and develop and implement corrective action plans when required.
-Perform continuous improvement activities related to ISO-9000.
-Develops and maintains positive employee relations within the guidelines of company policy.
-Human resource activities such as employee selection, pay administration, employee counseling, training, performance evaluations and the administration of policies and procedures.
-Coordinate and monitor the maintenance of equipment in department to meet work schedule.
Experience Required-Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field from a four-year college or university.
-Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
-A minimum of three years of Quality Engineering experience or a combination of five years of agriculture machinery engineering experience with a knowledge of Quality/lean manufacturing tools may be used.
Preferred Qualifications-Strong problem-solving skill that can be leveraged to make both technical product and departmental efficiency improvements.
-An understanding of manufacturing practices and procedures and inspection methods.
-Previous experience leading and supervising others.
-Multi-functional experience (Quality, Materials, Engineering, Human Resources, Safety, Operations).
-Experience with setting departmental vision, objectives and aligning these with the budget and resources required to obtain them.
-Knowledge of Manufacturing Control systems.
-Experience in the use of quality analysis tools, such as SPC, PFMEA, DFMEA, etc.
-Knowledge and experience in database software, project software, CAD/CAM software, and Industrial Engineering Processes.

Pay TransparencyThe annual salary for this role is USD $74,625.00 - $99,500.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
