Core ResponsibilitiesLead Plant Quality Organization- Lead QC supervisors, process quality engineers, and technical staff while driving accountability and a culture of continuous improvement.
Own Quality Assurance & Process Control- Establish and improve quality systems, prevent defects, and drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and containment of major issues.
Drive Cross-Functional Alignment- Act as the primary quality interface between Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Product Development to resolve issues and improve processes.
Manage Quality Performance- Monitor KPIs (defects, DPU, audits), analyze trends, and drive data-based improvements.
Ensure Compliance & Risk Control- Maintain compliance with internal standards and external requirements while managing audits and mitigating quality risks.
Lead Continuous Improvement- Drive structured process improvements and standardization across manufacturing operations.
Minimum Qualifications- Demonstrated leadership in quality control/assurance, corrective actions, and cross-functional problem solving
- 5-10+ years of manufacturing or quality experience (outdoor power equipment, automotive or similar industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 preferred)
- Experience with root cause methodologies (8D, DMAIC, etc.) and statistical analysis
- Familiarity with calibration systems and measurement system analysis
- Experience with outdoor power equipment
- Must be familiar with reading and understanding mechanical drawings
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) skills
Education Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred but not required
