What you will do:As the Plant Quality Assurance Manager you will:
- Lead the plant's Quality Management System and Food Safety Program
- Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Serve as Food Safety Team Leader and oversee food safety plans, risk assessments, and GMP programs
- Investigate customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Lead customer, supplier, and internal audits, ensuring timely closure of audit findings
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis
- Monitor process capability, quality metrics, and performance trends through data analysis and reporting
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to improve quality and operational performance
- Develop and coach quality team members while promoting a culture of quality, food safety, compliance, and workplace safety
What you'll need to have:- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Food Science, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing quality experience
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Experience with food safety programs, audits, compliance, and corrective actions
- Preferred experience in packaging manufacturing, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, customer quality, and supplier quality
