Job Title: Plant Manager Country: United StatesLocation: Tuscaloosa, ALPosition Summary:Manage, drive and monitor daily operations of the plant and ensure the alignment of all plant activities with the company's business strategy.
What you can look forward to as a Plant Manager:- Ensure positive P&L performance through monthly analysis, reporting and staff involvement and ensure the target achievement.
- Implement an efficient structure and processes to meet customer expectations & company targets and review progression & attainment with subordinates.
- Develop, coordinate and execute the short- & long-term Strategic and Business Plan including resource planning, implementation and monitoring and guarantee that appropriate corrective actions are taken for any non-conformances.
- Develop and monitor Policies and Procedures for the plant and ensure the plant complies with applicable Federal and State laws and regulations.
- Monitor, analyze and report on the organization's performance and KPIs to Top management.
- Build and maintain customer relationships with Key Account Clients.
- Lead, guide, develop and support the plant management team while creating an environment of cooperation, integrity and mutual trust.
- Establish and maintain a positive, safe and team-oriented work environment through leadership, performance feedback and coaching.
- Ensure the implementation of best practice production standards & processes within the plant.
- Represent the plant on regional and group level and serve as member of management committees for special projects.
- Attend and actively participate in cross functional team meetings.
- Promote and drive an environment of continuous improvement by actively driving initiatives on ZFFCN Lean Management, business-relevant projects & 5S+1.
- Ensure the overall compliance with company policies, directives & guidelines, TS16949 & ISO 14001 and the local legal environment.
- Create and maintain positive labor relations.
Your Profile as a Plant Manager:- Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or similar
- Min. 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing / automotive industry
- Sound understanding and knowledge of assembly processes, logistics and business financials
- Excellent proven communication and leadership skills on all hierarchy levels
- Strong economic & analytical thinking abilities
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Fluent English
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
