Our New Brunswick site is seeking a Plant Manager to provide hands-on leadership, direction, focus and execution for all operational activities at the site. This includes a comprehensive range of activities including EHS, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Material Requirements Planning, Product Development, Warehouse Operations, Continuous Improvement, Cost Management, and People Management. In addition, the position ensures that all processes and activities comply with Sun Chemical, Federal, State, local policies & regulations and Sun Chemical values for safety, quality, environmental and financial stewardship. The New Brunswick operation is a small site that produces high-performance solid pigment preparations for the plastics, coatings & ink industries. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Develop an Annual Operating Plan for the site.Implement the plan on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to meet customer needs and corporate objectives. • Develop & coach team members to reach their fullest potential. • Serve as a hands-on leader in all areas of Operations. • Establish and support a strong safety culture. • Communicate with sales & marketing, product development, product management, and customers to meet their needs. • Serve as Process Technology owner, ensuring organizational capability to ensure long-term market viability. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • High School Diploma or GED required • 5+ years of experience in a leadership/supervisory position in manufacturing • EHS leadership experience • 5 years of a background in chemical manufacturing industry PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree in science/technical field • Work experience with SAP • Working knowledge of Chemical Plant Process Safety and safe handling of chemicals • 5 years of a background in pigment industry Salary Range: 135K - 165K annually BENEFITS We offer a range of market-competitive total rewards that include merit increases, paid holidays, Paid Time Off, medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability benefits, 401(k)+match and life insurance.
