Full Job Description
As a Plant Manager, you will provide operational management for the entire site's coatings production process for the business. You will also contribute to the profitability of the business by coordinating each step of the production process to ensure customers' needs are met.

You will work onsite in Carrollton, TX and report directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the manufacturing and delivery of quality coatings safely, on time, efficiently, and within Pittsburgh Paints Company guidelines.
  • Lead a clean, safe, cost-efficient production organization that is committed to a high level of first run capability and is responsive to changes in the marketplace.
  • Evaluates equipment, facility, warehousing/distribution and process needs, and prepares capital authorizations to meet current and future needs.
  • Develop and maintain, training and participative management, a work force that is, motivated and committed to organizational objectives with effective utilization of staff.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Chemical Engineering or Chemistry preferred.
  • 10+ years of proven ability in Chemical Operations and Production Supervision.
  • Fluent in DMAIC/DFLSS and Kaizen project execution-Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Strong determination for action and an ability to create and implement initiatives to drive performance improvement, providing examples of tangible results.
  • History of continuous improvement and record of accomplishment.
