The Opportunity:Our client is seeking a Plant Manager to lead a complex, highly automated industrial facility in the Greater Toronto Area.
This is not a steady-state operation. The site is in a critical phase of operational build-out and requires a hands-on leader to stabilize performance, implement structure, and drive continuous improvement across a multi-process environment.
What You'll Be Doing:- Lead day-to-day plant operations across a multi-building industrial site
- Drive throughput, efficiency, and operational performance
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Establish and refine SOPs, preventive maintenance programs, and operational standards
- Lead root cause analysis and resolution of downtime and production issues
- Coach and develop frontline supervisors and production teams
- Foster a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability
- Partner with maintenance and technical teams to improve equipment reliability
- Support ongoing operational ramp-up and process stabilization initiatives
What You'll Need to Be Successful:- Proven experience leading operations in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Strong process-oriented mindset with experience in automated or equipment-driven operations
- Hands-on leadership style with a track record of driving change on the plant floor
- Experience with continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and operational problem solving
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Exposure to unionized environments is an asset
Compensation Details: Base Salary of $140,000 -$160,000 + 10% Bonus
