Join Ecore as our Plant Manager in Lockport, NY, where you'll have full operational ownership of a dynamic manufacturing facility and the opportunity to shape the future of our production operations.
Easy-As Plant Manager, you'll oversee complete facility operations managing 40-50 employees with direct reports across two shifts. This isn't just about maintaining the status quo - you'll be the driving force behind operational excellence, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and developing the next generation of manufacturing leaders.
What You'll Do: - Own and oversee all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and cost control
- Lead daily production activities such as stand-up meetings, Gemba walks, and continuous improvement reviews
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to eliminate waste and improve efficiency
- Partner with supply chain and transportation teams to optimize material flow and delivery performance
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Manage site budgets covering labor, maintenance, capital expenditures, and cost improvements
What You Bring: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 7+ years of proven leadership experience managing teams and supervisors
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to read, analyze, and manage financial statements, P&Ls, and budgets
- Proficiency with computer systems, including MS Office and MRP systems
- Able to travel up to 15% of the time
