CKS Packaging is currently seeking an experienced Plant Manager with a strong manufacturing background to lead all aspects of one of our facilities in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across production, maintenance, quality, and safety while ensuring the plant meets performance, cost, and delivery goals.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can build a high-performing, improve processes, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities- Lead daily plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and warehouse/logistics
- Establish and maintain a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
- Drive operational performance through KPIs and metrics
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Manage plant P&L, budgeting, and cost control initiatives
- Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and department leaders
- Ensure on-time production and adherence to quality standards
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee staffing (temporary and full time associates), workforce planning, and employee engagement
Qualifications- 7-10+ years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role
- 5+ years of experience as a Plant Manager or senior operations leader
- Strong background in high-volume manufacturing
- Proven leadership of multi-shift operations and cross-functional teams
- Experience managing budgets, P&L, and operational performance
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certifications or experience preferred, but not required
- Experience in plastics, blow molding, injection, and/or extrusion is a plus, but not required
