Location:

The Plant Manager will be responsible for all manufacturing, safety, training, personnel, maintenance and other activities as required to ensure high quality of product and customer satisfaction through team development and operational excellence.

• Leading all plant operations to ensure budgetary goals are met or advanced.
• Ensure our products consistently meet or surpass our QC standards, using specified SOP testing methods.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with Federal, State, and Corporate regulations.
• Guide facility maintenance, including technical support for direct reports, vendor coordination, and establishing preventative maintenance schedules to keep all equipment fully operational.
• Implement innovative and excellent processes of production to drive continuous improvement and optimize quality.
• Work collaboratively with regional sales, leadership, and other Plant and Branch Managers to ensure accurate, timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and support employees according to corporate guidelines while managing day-to-day operations, shift scheduling, and associate development.
• Ensure timely, accurate data entry and record-keeping related to sales, purchasing, raw materials, performance evaluations, and safety documentation. ● Contribute to other strategic initiatives in alignment with leadership needs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

● 80% of the time in an office setting (i.e. desk/computer station.

● 20% of the time within an unconditioned work space (i.e. warm in summer, cool in winter). Hazards require the use of personal protective equipment (i.e. hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes)

● On-call 24/7 required.

Required Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: A High School diploma combined with extensive experience, specifically including three (5) years of leading 10+ production workers in an industrial setting.
• Leadership & Discipline: Strong decision-making skills to enforce company policies, plant procedures, and discipline staff in a fair, professional manner.
• Administration & Communication: Very good written/verbal communication for basic reports, plus organizational skills to manage personnel files, time tracking, and inventory.
• Math & Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email) and higher-level math skills necessary for budgeting and cost control.
• Environment & Physical Demands: Ability to work and lead a team safely in a chemical environment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This includes the ability to communicate effectively, navigate the facility, position oneself to inspect or handle tools and equipment, and view operations closely or at a distance. Moderate lifting may be required to support team needs.
• Financial: Understanding of financial reports, budgetary methods and forecasting

  Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Education: Bachelors degree preferred, military experience will be considered.
• Industry Expertise: Prior knowledge of operating specific industrial machines
• Formal training: Hydraulics, Industrial Refrigeration, Reciprocating and Screw type Compressors, Manufacturing processes.
