Full Job Description
Schneider Electric is seeking a Plant Finance Business Partner (Controller) to join our ETO manufacturing facility in Brossard, Quebec. In this strategic role, you will partner closely with the Plant Manager and leadership team to drive informed decision-making, operational excellence, and financial performance.

As the finance leader supporting the site, you will translate operational realities into actionable business insights, guiding budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and investment decisions. You will play a key role in supporting production growth and transformation initiatives while ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and internal controls.

What you'll be doing

Finance Business Partnership
  • Partner with the Plant Manager and leadership team to drive operational and financial performance.
  • Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify risks and opportunities and work with stakeholders to develop improvement plans.
  • Collaborate across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and
  • Finance to achieve business objectives.
  • Foster a strong understanding of key performance metrics and drive accountability for results.

Financial Planning & Performance Management
  • Lead the site's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Analyze results, explain performance drivers, and provide recommendations to improve outcomes.
  • Partner with operational leaders to enhance forecast accuracy and support decision-making.
  • Present financial performance, trends, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.

Financial Control & Governance
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, reporting, and balance sheet accounts.
  • Maintain a strong internal control and compliance environment in line with Schneider Electric standards.
  • Support internal and external audits and oversee remediation of control gaps where required.
  • Coordinate month-end close activities with accounting and shared service teams.

Manufacturing Finance & Project Controlling
  • Provide financial oversight of inventory, product costing, work-in-process, and manufacturing performance.
  • Support physical inventory and cycle count programs to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Partner with operations and engineering teams to support capital investments and capacity expansion initiatives.
  • Monitor project financial performance and ensure appropriate capitalization and reporting of investments.

Leadership & Transformation
  • Lead and develop finance talent while fostering an inclusive and high-performing team environment.
  • Influence and support matrixed finance resources and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Contribute to transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA and reporting enhancements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, analytics, and business insights.


What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA, and/or CPA designation.
  • Fluency in both French and English.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Operations Controlling, including Finance Business Partnering experience within manufacturing, supply chain, or operations environments.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, project controlling, and/or operational financial management.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and working with large data sets.
  • Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP environment.

The expected pay range is CAD $114,750 - CAD $162,000 per year. This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives.
