Full Job Description
The Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a Plant Engineering Manager for our manufacturing facility in Huron, OH. The Plant Engineering Manager manages multiple plant processes and technologies. You will report to the Plant Manager and work onsite at the plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe, healthy and productive work environment for all employees through accurate maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Lead the maintenance department, control specialist, capital projects, and preventative maintenance systems.
  • Confers with management, production, and marketing staff to determine engineering feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products. Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.
  • Lead associates, encouraging a continuous improvement of individual performance.
  • Responsible for facilitating improvement projects to help drive cost reduction, process improvement, safety and compliance.
  • Manage and deliver compliance with respect to our EHS management system.
  • Work with the Leadership team to strengthen the overall effectiveness of the site.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent Engineering education
  • 7+ years of engineering project management and maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Process safety management (PSM) experience preferred.
