Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Plastics, Manufacturing or equivalent)
• Project management experience including familiarity with project management tools and software.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of coding and programming is advantageous.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and understanding of relevant methodologies.
• Highly skilled in MS Office applications.
• Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (estimated <10%) and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing plant performance.
• Analyze equipment and processes to develop actionable improvement plans.
• Identify operational gaps and recommend actionable insights to management.
• Direct plant projects aimed at reducing costs, enhancing safety, and increasing equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with peers to share and adopt best practices across the organization.
• Review and refine existing operational standards using PDCA methodology.
• Conduct risk assessments for new equipment in partnership with the Safety Team.
