Plant Controller - Manufacturing. At Silgan Containers' Maxton, NC facility, you will manage multiple cost centers and strengthen manufacturing operations located within our customers' campus, making this a visible and impactful role.

What You Will Do- Run plant accounting and cost accounting processes across multiple cost centers.
- Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial accuracy.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and operating plans.
- Maintain standard costs and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Oversee physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.
- Review labor, materials, overhead, distribution, and inventory variances.
- Participate in production and operations meetings.
- Support internal controls, audit readiness, and asset protection.
- Partner with operations to improve manufacturing performance.
- Supervise front office administrative and accounting activities.
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Five or more years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- ERP system experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
