Join our Smart Infrastructure (SI) team as Plant Controller to help us to successfully manage all financial aspects of Operations of factory in Drummondville Quebec. The successful candidate will partner with the Plant Manager, plant leadership team, local business management/segments and the North American Operations teams to drive financial performance and operational excellence. Responsibilities include developing a high-performance culture and world class team while maintaining accurate financial records, owning planning and controlling processes, tracking KPI performance, and leading improvement initiatives and projects. The role reports locally to the Head of Finance, Electrical Products, and functionally to the Director of Finance, Operations (Systems). As the Plant Controller, you will: - Co-own the business along with the Plant Manager and act as a financial business partner and a member of the plant leadership team, driving commercial success and operational excellence. - Collaborate with business unit, segment, and operations leaders to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and financial performance. - Lead planning, forecasting, performance monitoring, and KPI development, ensuring alignment between operational and financial targets and drive corrective actions where needed. - Support the accuracy of master data, value flow, inventory management, and sales order controlling to ensure reliable financial reporting and effective decision-making. - Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, digitalization, automation, and the implementation of new systems and tools (e.g., SAP, MES, Sherpa). - Establish, maintain, and monitor internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial records, compliance with policies, and successful audit outcomes. - Partner closely with manufacturing, purchasing, planning, and logistics teams to optimize inventory performance, working capital, and overall plant profitability. - Translate long-term strategic goals into actionable plans, leading initiatives that support sustainable growth and operational excellence. - Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team by setting clear objectives, fostering accountability, and supporting professional growth. What will you need to succeed? - Degree in Accounting, Finance. - CMA or CPA designations preferred. - Minimum 10 years' experience in Finance, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment - Experience and in-depth know-how of large and complex manufacturing environments - Comprehensive SCM- and manufacturing process understanding (beyond finance) - Very strong in-depth knowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and digitalization- / automation tools (Tableau, Snowflake, KNIME, PowerBI, etc.) and AI - Strong Networking-, Collaboration- and Stakeholder Management skills - Ability to effectively manage deadlines, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment - Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting process. - Experience and track record in developing and directing teams as well as to manage and develop individuals - Strong impact on results in own area. - English would be considered an asset for this position but is not a requirement. The successful candidate must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position in French. Knowledge of English may be beneficial for one or more of the following reasons: Occasional interaction with English-speaking customers, suppliers, or colleagues outside of Quebec and other business-related situations where English may be beneficial but is not required to perform the essential duties of the role.
