Full Job Description
*This position requires a TS/SCI Clearance* Responsibilities:
Utilize automated information management systems to collect, organize, maintain, and present operational data in support of EXFOR mission requirements.
Enter, validate, and maintain USSOCOM operational activities across SOF Enterprise, Joint Staff, and Military Service databases.
Perform database backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity, continuity of operations, and prevention of data loss.
Analyze user requirements to design, develop, administer, and optimize database solutions that support operational needs.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot system issues, and implement performance tuning to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Maintain database security by managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with organizational policies.
Transform and present complex operational data in multiple formats to support decision-making and enhance stakeholder understanding.
Facilitate the exchange and dissemination of information across the SOF Enterprise, Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Services.
Design, develop, and maintain knowledge management solutions that improve collaboration, information sharing, and organizational knowledge across the SOF Enterprise.
Provide technical, administrative, and logistical support for experimentation events, working groups, conferences, and meetings.
Develop and deliver executive-level briefings, reports, information papers, and presentations for senior leadership and operational stakeholders.
Support users by providing assistance with data entry, retrieval, validation, and database navigation.
Produce professional reports, presentations, correspondence, and analytical products using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
Develop, maintain, and update electronic mission continuity resources, including organizational points of contact and reference materials accessible to all authorized stakeholders.
Coordinate and perform travel, up to 25%, to support operational meetings, experimentation events, and mission requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in information or computer science-related subject areas (e.g., project management, database management, software development and implementation, or portal management, etc.)
5 years' experience in database development, managing and software implementation
3 years of experience developing and presenting verbal and written products at the general/flag level command staff
5 years' experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, and PowerPoint, Access, Excel etc.)
