JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking an experienced operations professional to join our team and oversee production planning, supply chain coordination, inventory management, and operational reporting for our Component Repair business. This role serves as the central point of coordination for repair activity throughout the facility, ensuring visibility of parts as they progress through each stage of the repair process.

The Planning & Supply Chain Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring workflow, identifying bottlenecks, coordinating priorities across departments, managing inventory performance in partnership with the Inventory Coordinator, and providing accurate reporting and status updates to leadership. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both operational teams and executive leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and track component repairs from receiving through final shipment, ensuring visibility of work order status throughout the repair process.
  • Monitor the movement of components between departments and proactively identify bottlenecks, delays, and scheduling risks.
  • Coordinate production priorities with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Inventory teams to support on-time delivery objectives.
  • Follow up on delayed jobs and drive corrective actions to minimize turnaround time and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics related to repair status, throughput, inventory, and supply chain activities.
  • Provide timely and accurate status updates to management and executive leadership regarding production schedules, critical shortages, and operational performance.
  • Partner with the Inventory Coordinator to maintain inventory accuracy and appropriate stock levels for production requirements.
  • Analyze inventory usage trends and support inventory planning initiatives to reduce shortages and improve material availability.
  • Work closely with suppliers, purchasing teams, and internal stakeholders to expedite critical materials and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on repair cycle times, inventory management, planning processes, and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain reporting processes that improve accountability, visibility, and decision-making across the organization.
  • Assist leadership with operational planning, forecasting, and resource allocation activities.
