Full Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain engineering, design, procurement, and construction schedules using Primavera P6 (preferred) or Microsoft Project for industrial projects within an EP/EPC environment.

- Support schedule development during proposal preparation, pre-feasibility studies, feasibility studies, detailed engineering, procurement, and construction phases.

- Lead schedule development workshops and schedule review meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including Project Managers, Engineering and Design Leads, Procurement, Project Controls, Document Control, construction contractors, and client representatives.

- Prepare and issue schedule-related reports in accordance with project execution plans, client requirements, and project controls procedures.

- Develop, monitor, analyze, and update project schedules for one or more projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.

- Identify schedule risks, variances, and critical path impacts, and recommend corrective actions to support successful project execution.

- Collaborate in development and continuous improvement of scheduling procedures, and best practices.

- Lead engineering and procurement schedule integration activities and coordinate interfaces with external construction contractors.

- Assist in the development of project cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and cost control reporting.

- Support project managers with budget monitoring, cost tracking, performance measurement, and project reporting activities.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management from an ABET accredited university and demonstrated experience in project planning and scheduling skills (schedule development, management and reporting).

- Five (5) to ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling, and cost control for industrial engineering and construction projects.

- Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, including importing and exporting Excel and MS Project into and out of Primavera P6.

- Experience working in EP/EPC project environments.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

- Working knowledge of project cost management, forecasting, and reporting methodologies.

- Industry certifications in scheduling such as PSP, PMI-SP, and EVM are preferred, but not required.

- An understanding of Advanced Work Packaging project delivery methodology and the interaction between engineering disciplines, procurement and construction.

- An understanding of AACEI Recommended Practices and Levels of Schedule.

- Knowledge in the principles and practices of international industrial project procurement and engineering.

- Proven experience with SharePoint, MS Office, MS Teams, and be an advanced Primavera P6 user.

- Demonstrated ability to work with designers, engineers, and contractors of all experience levels regarding project schedules, progress and cost.

- A high degree of professionalism and be detail oriented.

- Be well versed in Earned Value Management and Rules of Credit.

- Have a good understanding of management of change in the design engineering environment.
