Job Description Summary
Nous recherchons un(e) Planificateur(trice) de Construction sur site pour la division Hydroélectrique Amérique du Nord de GE Vernova. Dans ce poste, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la planification et la coordination des activités de construction pour des projets hydroélectriques majeurs. Vous serez responsable de l’élaboration et de la mise à jour d’échéanciers détaillés (niveau 4-5) et chargés en ressources dans Primavera P6, de la coordination de la planification journalière avec les équipes sur site, ainsi que du suivi et du rapport de l’avancement des travaux, des risques et des actions de mitigation.

We are looking for a Site Construction Planner for GE Vernova’s North America Hydropower division. In this role, you will play a key part in planning and coordinating construction activities for major hydropower projects. You will be responsible for developing and updating detailed, resource‑loaded schedules (Level 4–5) in Primavera P6, coordinating day‑to‑day planning with site teams, and tracking and reporting work progress, risks, and mitigation actions.

  • Suivre l’avancement physique, la valeur acquise et la productivité, incluant les courbes en S, mettre à jour les échéanciers selon les conditions du chantier et identifier rapidement les risques de délais.
  • Identifier et analyser les écarts entre les travaux planifiés et réels, et proposer des mesures d’atténuation ou de rattrapage.
  • Examiner les dessins techniques et les synoptiques afin d’identifier les interfaces de construction, les contraintes d’accès et les risques liés au séquencement.
  • Soutenir la préparation des réclamations liées aux échéanciers, incluant les analyses d’impact et de délais, conformément aux dispositions contractuelles.
  • Préparer les rapports d’échéancier et les courbes en S pour la direction de projet et les revues client, en tenant à jour un registre des contraintes de planification et des délais.
  • Fournir des mises à jour claires et efficientes de l’échéancier à la direction de projet et aux représentants du client, en mettant en évidence l’avancement, les risques et les plans de rattrapage.

Ce que vous apporterez (Qualifications requises)

  • Expérience avérée en planification dans un domaine lié à la construction, incluant au moins cinq (5) ans d’expérience sur site pour des projets industriels.
  • Forte maîtrise d’un logiciel de planification, Microsoft Project ou Primavera P6, pour la création et la gestion d’échéanciers de projet et la gestion des ressources.
  • Connaissance des principes, techniques et méthodologies de planification de projets de construction.
  • Capacité à lire et interpréter les plans de construction et à comprendre les interdépendances entre les différentes disciplines (mécaniques, électriques, tuyauterie…).
  • Excellentes compétences analytiques et en résolution de problèmes, avec la capacité d'anticiper et de réduire les conflits et les risques liés à la planification.
  • Solide leadership avec une communication proactive et collaborative

Conditions d'éligibilité

  • Maîtrise du français et capacité de communiquer en anglais.
  • Capacité et volonté de voyager sur les sites de travail au Québec (100 % du temps, selon les horaires de rotation établis).

What you will do

  • Support the preparation of schedule‑related claims, including impact and delay analyses, in accordance with contract provisions.
  • Prepare schedule reports and S‑curves for project management and customer reviews, while maintaining an up‑to‑date register of planning constraints and delays.
  • Provide clear and efficient schedule updates to project management and customer representatives, highlighting progress, risks, and recovery plans.
