Chemical Manufacturing Industry. You will be responsible for design work supporting small facility-based projects in an active chemical manufacturing plant as part of the
Bishop, TX capital projects group.
The Piping Engineering Designer will be responsible for design work supporting small facility-based projects in an active chemical manufacturing plant. The role involves meeting or exceeding the company's safety standards, complying with all company procedures and engineering practices, and working closely with project team members to achieve project success.

- Vendor Drawings
- Provide piping & mechanical designs for capital and maintenance projects
- Field as-built, measurement as required
- Apply company and industry standards to generate piping & mechanical construction drawings
- Create written field letters to describe required work
- Perform material take-offs and Create BOMs
- Assist with construction estimating

Expected:- 5-10+ years industrial experience working in the design field
- Chemical Manufacturing or Related Industry Experience is required
- Experience with design of piping & mechanical systems
- Equipment Placement
- Drawings Verification - Updates for "As-Builts"
- Experience with Stress Analysis is a plus
- Field Design Experience
- Able to wear required PPE
- Operate Vehicles safely to jobsite

- Proficiency in MicroStation is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft, Word, Excel and Outlook
