Pipeline Design Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of natural gas transmission and related energy infrastructure projects. This is a
remote position.

What You'll Do:- Lead and support pipeline design and engineering for transmission and midstream infrastructure projects
- Develop and review alignment sheets, routing plans, and design documentation
- Perform hydraulic modeling and flow analysis using tools such as Synergi Gas, AFT Fathom, or PipeSim
- Execute engineering calculations including MAOP, wall thickness, stress analysis, and class location assessments in accordance with 49 CFR 192 and ASME B31.8
- Design and support facilities integration, including meter/regulator stations, compressor stations, and valve spacing
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, I&C) to deliver coordinated engineering solutions
- Participate in constructability reviews and provide technical support during construction activities
- Interface with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and project success
- Contribute to technical reports, specifications, and permitting documentation with clear and concise writing
- Support project tracking related to scope, schedule, and budget performance
What You Bring:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required. Preferred in PA/OH/WV.
- 5-10+ years of pipeline engineering experience, focused on transmission systems
- Strong knowledge of pipeline design codes (ASME B31.8, 49 CFR 192)
- Experience with hydraulic modeling and pipeline system analysis
- Familiarity with pipeline routing, alignment sheets, and design documentation
- Prior experience with field activities or construction support
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites on occasion
Salary Range:The compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000, with final compensation determined based on years of experience, qualifications, and licensing status.
