Title: Pipeline Architect SME (Hybrid | Top Secret | SCI eligible)
Location: San Antonio, TX (Top Secret required personnel may be remote but may be required to be onsite to access the SCIF facilities in San Antonio up to one week, 2 times per month)
Clearance: Top Secret (SCI eligible)

About this role:

Rackner is seeking a Pipeline Architect to work in cooperation with the Pipeline Services Product Line Manager and the UP Infrastructure Lead Engineer to develop an overall architecture and implementation plan for CI/CD pipelines compatible with the DoD CIO DevSecOps Reference Design and the UP cATO.
Works with stakeholders and customers to achieve a CtF for software built by tenant application teams.

We are seeking professionals with:

BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree or industry experience equivalent
Active Certified Kubernetes Applications Developer (CKAD) preferred, must be able to acquire a CKAD within 6 months if not
7+ years; contributing on a technical team for a software or IT project:
- 3 years; Development of DevSecOps CI/CD Pipelines
- 3 years; providing technical guidance to junior team members
- 2 years; leading a technical team on a software or IT project with proven performance
DoD 8570/8140 IASAE Level II within 90 days of start:
- CASP+ CE
- CISSP (or Associate)
- CSSLP
- CISSP-ISSAP
- CISSP-ISSEP
- CCSP

What will make you successful:

Work with the Cybersecurity team by implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
Use automation best practices, such as IaC and GitOps, for repeatability and fast provisioning of environments
The DevSecOps architecture should function in highly classified systems
Work closely with development teams to provide onboarding support
Ensure platform and networks are compliant with DoD policies

M.S.; Computer Science or Engineering field
10+ years; Contributing on a technical team
- 5 years; Providing technical guidance to junior team members
- 4 years; Leading a technical team
DoD 8570/8140 IASAE Level II within 30 days of start
