Purpose of the roleAs a
Pipeline and Midstream Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of engineering and project execution services for pipeline and midstream infrastructure projects. You will translate customer objectives into practical execution strategies, manage project performance across scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety, and foster strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with technical specialists, project teams, and customers, you will provide leadership that drives predictable project outcomes while maintaining compliance with industry regulations, company governance processes, and customer requirements. Your contributions will support the continued growth of Worley's pipeline and midstream business while delivering safe, sustainable, and innovative solutions.
Location: Denver, Colorado
This position is based in our Denver office and supports a hybrid work environment, combining office collaboration with flexibility where business needs permit.
You will be responsible for- Leading pipeline and midstream engineering and execution projects from initiation through completion.
- Managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and resource requirements in alignment with contractual obligations and Worley governance processes.
- Developing project execution strategies that support customer objectives, operational performance, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver technical solutions across pipeline and facility projects.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Supporting engineering activities including pipeline routing, line sizing, hydraulic analysis, crossing design, material selection, technical specifications, and engineering calculations.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and project team members.
- Reviewing and supporting the development of key engineering deliverables, including alignment sheets, HDD drawings, plot plans, PFDs, P&IDs, and piping isometrics.
- Facilitating effective communication between customers, project teams, and leadership to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Promoting a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Supporting project planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance monitoring activities.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
What you'll bring to the role- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Engineer Intern (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
- 5 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience supporting pipeline and midstream projects within a US EPC environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the design and construction of crude oil, natural gas, water, and CO gathering and transmission systems.
- Working knowledge of industry codes and standards, including ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, DOT Part 192, and DOT Part 195.
- Familiarity with PHMSA requirements and US Army Corps of Engineers regulations.
- Experience supporting compressor stations, measurement and regulation facilities, and mainline valve sites.
- Knowledge of pipeline engineering calculations including hydrostatic testing, wall thickness, stress analysis, hydraulic modeling, HDD installation, and related design activities.
- Experience developing and reviewing engineering deliverables such as alignment sheets, HDD plan and profile drawings, plot plans, piping isometrics, PFDs, and P&IDs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Compensation for Colorado applicants: - Salary Range is $156,103 - $205,563
