Master's degree or PhD in physics or medical physics

POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
The Radiation Physicists is responsible for the safe and effective us of radioactive equipment at Tammy Walker Cancer Center. The Physicist is held accountable for the safety and correct use of radiation treatments and helps other members of the oncology staff to design treatment plans. The Physicist is also responsible for maintaining radiation safety standards to protect the patients and employees of Tammy Walker Cancer Center by checking the equipment continuously to ensure the correct dose of radiation is being used.
