Senior Physician Recruiter

Summary

The Senior Physician Recruiter is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive physician recruitment strategies for assigned specialties and service lines. This role partners closely with physician leadership, executives, and operational stakeholders to identify workforce needs, build candidate pipelines, and attract highly qualified physicians and advanced providers to UCHealth.

The Senior Physician Recruiter serves as a trusted consultant throughout the recruitment lifecycle, driving sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, market intelligence, and employment negotiations while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience and alignment with organizational goals. This position is an onsite role and does not offer a remote or hybrid option.

Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified physicians for assigned specialties and service lines.
    • Manage full-cycle physician recruitment activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, presenting candidates, facilitating site visits, and coordinating offer negotiations.
    • Build and maintain robust physician candidate pipelines through networking, direct sourcing, referrals, professional associations, conferences, and market research.
    • Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments to evaluate qualifications, clinical experience, leadership capabilities, career goals, and cultural alignment with the organization.
    • Provide consultative guidance to hiring leaders regarding market conditions, recruitment trends, compensation intelligence, candidate availability, and competitive positioning.
    • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and external advertising partners to create compelling recruitment campaigns and employer branding initiatives that strengthen UCHealth's market presence.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with residency and fellowship programs, specialty organizations, physician associations, and training institutions to enhance recruitment efforts.
    • Identify and engage passive candidates utilizing innovative sourcing techniques and targeted outreach strategies.
    • Coordinate physician interview processes, site visits, and stakeholder engagement activities to ensure a positive candidate experience.
    • Present physician opportunities to prospective candidates, effectively communicating organizational culture, strategic priorities, clinical resources, practice environment, and long-term career growth opportunities.
    • Facilitate recruitment meetings and candidate reviews with physician and executive leadership to support hiring decisions.
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of healthcare workforce trends, physician recruiting best practices, credentialing requirements, and regulatory considerations.
    • Ensure recruitment processes are conducted in compliance with organizational policies, employment laws, and applicable healthcare regulations.
    • Represent UCHealth at industry conferences, recruitment events, career fairs, and professional networking opportunities.

Minimum Requirements
    • High School diploma or GED required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum of two (2) years of physician recruitment experience required.
    • Experience recruiting physicians within a large healthcare system, academic medical center, or multi-specialty medical group preferred.
    • Demonstrated success managing multiple complex physician searches simultaneously.

    • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong negotiation, influencing, and presentation abilities.
    • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, and recruitment technologies.
    • Ability to analyze physician labor market trends and develop data-driven recruitment strategies.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Commitment to delivering an exceptional physician candidate experience.


Pay: $80,537 - $120,806 annual base pay. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
