Job SummaryThe physician provides Critical Care and Pulmonology clinical care in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Follows and directs evidenced based practices as established within the Internal Medicine service line. Collaborates and coordinates the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.
Responsibilities1. Maintain and document all applicable required education and job knowledge ensuring licensure, credentials and continuing education are actively maintained and timely. 2. Demonstrate positive customer service and co-worker relations. 3. Comply with the company's attendance policy. 4. Participate in the continuous, quality improvement activities of the department and institution. 5. Perform work in a cost effective manner. 6. Attend mandatory in-service, staff meetings and medical staff meetings as required. 7. Perform work in alignment with the overall mission and strategic plan of the organization. 8. Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable. 9. Completes all required competencies on time. 10. Perform related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExperience in group practice and/or hospital setting preferred.
