Saratoga Medical (DBA Saratoga Ascend) is hiring a Physician - Psychiatry for an onsite opportunity with Maricopa County Correctional Health Services in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Psychiatrist to provide comprehensive mental health services in a correctional healthcare setting.

Requirements
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical program
  • Completion of an accredited U.S. Psychiatry Residency or Fellowship
  • Current, valid, unrestricted Arizona Psychiatrist license
  • Current Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the Arizona Medical Board
  • Current DEA/Controlled Substance Registration Certificate for Schedule II, III, and IV medications
  • Current NPI verification
  • Current N95 fit testing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Psychiatrist

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric consultations, patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Evaluate new admissions and re-evaluate patients as needed
  • Prescribe medications according to the CHS Pharmacy Formulary
  • Manage involuntary treatment, including court-ordered evaluations and involuntary medications
  • Participate in the Mental Health Interdisciplinary Treatment Team and coordinate with the Forensic Team
