Overview:Job Description Summary:Assesses, diagnoses, and treats mental illnesses and disorders using therapy, medication, and other interventions.
Job Description:Essential Functions:- Diagnoses and treats patients with mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
- Prescribes medications and other treatments to manage symptoms and improve mental health.
- Develops and implements treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Monitors patient progress and adjusts treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
Education Requirement:MD or DO, required.
Licensure Requirement:Ohio Medical License, required.
Certifications:Board certification in General Psychiatry, required.
Experience:- Three years of residency training in medicine, neurology, and general psychiatry with adults, required.
- Two years of additional training in an accredited fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, required.
