Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is seeking
a full-time Psychiatrist to join our collaborative and growing Behavioral Health team in Washington, DC.
This psychiatrist will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality psychiatric care to adults admitted for acute mental health needs. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, team-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where providers support one another across services to ensure exceptional patient care.
Position Highlights- Adult inpatient psychiatry practice
- Voluntary 19-bed inpatient psychiatric unit
- Collaborative team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, and behavioral health professionals
- Opportunity to participate in outpatient care, if desired
- Exposure to innovative treatment modalities including:
- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
- Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)
- Ketamine treatment services
- Strong physician-led culture emphasizing teamwork and collegiality, assisting colleagues when patient volumes fluctuate
Qualifications- MD or DO
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Washington, DC
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to teamwork and collaborative practice
