Full Job Description
Johns Hopkins Community Physicians (JHCP) is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join our collaborative and growing Behavioral Health team in Washington, DC.

This psychiatrist will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality psychiatric care to adults admitted for acute mental health needs. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, team-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where providers support one another across services to ensure exceptional patient care.

Position Highlights
  • Adult inpatient psychiatry practice
  • Voluntary 19-bed inpatient psychiatric unit
  • Collaborative team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, social workers, and behavioral health professionals
  • Opportunity to participate in outpatient care, if desired
  • Exposure to innovative treatment modalities including:
    • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
    • Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)
    • Ketamine treatment services
  • Strong physician-led culture emphasizing teamwork and collegiality, assisting colleagues when patient volumes fluctuate
