Position Overview
The Physician Practice Lead RN provides clinical leadership and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care within the UHS physician practices. This role serves as a vital link between frontline staff and operational leadership, assisting in the promotion of excellence in clinical practice, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The Lead RN fosters a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement-engaging patients, healthcare teams, and the broader community in the pursuit of optimal health outcomes.

The RN is accountable for maintaining compliance with the New York State Nurse Practice Act, United Health Services Hospitals and Nursing Division policies, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Scope and Standards of Practice, the ANA Code of Ethics, and the Patient Bill of Rights. This role promotes a healing and supportive environment, fostering patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

Work Locations:
UHS Primary Care, Owego, NYUHS Primary Care, Candor, NYUHS Primary Care, Newark Valley, NY

There is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Compensation Range:
$37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experience

Education/Experience:

License/Certification:
  • Current NY State RN license.
  • Documentation of current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days employment.
