Job Title: Physician - Nocturnist Scholar

Scholars will engage in projects aligned with Cardiology or Oncology in partnership with the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR)-a nationally recognized translational research center committed to innovation and scientific advancement.

Primary Responsibilities- Provide overnight inpatient care at a primary hospital assignment (Lankenau Medical Center) with flexibility to support other MLH campuses as needed.
- Perform admissions, cross-coverage, and acute event management during night shifts.
- Engage in meaningful academic work during protected time, including:
- Clinical research
- Quality improvement initiatives
- Scholarly writing or abstract development
- Collaboration with LIMR research teams
- Participate in interdisciplinary communication to support seamless, patient-centered care.

Qualifications- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Valid Pennsylvania medical license or eligibility
- DEA license and ACLS certification
- Comfortable managing overnight admissions, codes, and rapid response activations
- Interest in academic medicine, research, or specialty fellowship preparation preferred
