While this position is remote-based, it offers a highly collaborative and visible presence in the field, requiring regular travel to hospitals, clinics, and medical group locations across Milwaukee County and neighboring communities.

Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30

What You'll Do
  • Serve as the primary site liaison during the pre-interview and interview process, providing consultation, education, and support to candidates, physician leaders, and recruitment colleagues.
  • Partner with physician/APC recruiters to ensure a smooth, efficient, and effective candidate experience throughout the recruitment, interview, hiring, and onboarding process.
  • Develop, coordinate, and schedule site visit plans, candidate itineraries, interviews, community tours, and related logistics.
  • Educate candidates and their families on Advocate Health's services, facilities, processes, culture, and local communities.
  • Identify candidate and family needs, research resources as needed, and provide guidance to support relocation and integration.
  • Maintain consistent communication regarding candidate status, itinerary development, market conditions, recruitment plans, and potential process concerns.
  • Collaborate with operational and medical leadership to support assessment of candidate fit, including cultural alignment and skill match.
  • Accompany candidates during site visits, gather post-visit feedback from candidates and leaders, and help evaluate the effectiveness of the visit experience.
  • Partner with local administration, operations, medical group leaders, and recruitment colleagues to support development of practice descriptions and opportunity summaries.
  • Support site-level workforce planning by identifying and communicating pending workforce concerns, recruitment trends, and potential retention opportunities.
  • Brand and market Advocate Health by presenting the organization, services, programs, communities, and best practices in a consistent and compelling way.
  • Maintain contact with new clinicians during the first year of employment to support a smooth transition, answer questions, resolve concerns, and gather scheduled feedback.
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing clinicians, including retirees, and prepare reports for senior leadership to help track trends and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor credentialing, privileging, and licensing processes in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to support timely completion after offer acceptance.
  • Proactively identify potential delays or gaps in hiring, onboarding, credentialing, and integration processes and help facilitate timely solutions.
  • Oversee onboarding in partnership with department colleagues, site leadership, and new hires to help ensure a successful transition.
  • Coordinate and support new hire house-hunting activities, clinical/site orientation, hospital orientation, and related integration needs.


What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Typically requires 5 years of experience in provider relations, marketing, medical group operations, communications, physician/APP recruitment, or a related health care environment.
  • Experience developing relationships with providers, educating providers on services and programs, and facilitating processes across multiple teams.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies, retention practices, business development, market development, and workforce planning.
  • Ability to evaluate, address, and resolve complex issues and challenges with sound judgment and follow-through.
  • Ability to recognize potentially problematic issues, understand organizational implications, and support effective resolution.
  • Knowledge of the geographic area served, with the ability to provide community guidance to physicians and their families.
  • Advanced knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations impacting recruitment, human resources, and organizational practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with physicians, leaders, candidates, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong negotiation, organization, prioritization, and project coordination skills.
  • Experience leading and/or coordinating projects, including timeline development, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation.
  • Ability to serve as a resource, provide guidance to others, and establish credibility through expertise, trust, and relationship-building.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other system applications.


Preferred
  • Experience supporting physician and/or APP recruitment, onboarding, integration, provider relations, business development, marketing, clinic operations, or medical group operations.
  • Experience working in a health care environment with physicians, APPs, operational leaders, physician leaders, service line leaders, hospital executives, and recruitment teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, service-minded approach, and ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a broader team.
  • Knowledge of local communities, hospitals, clinics, and health care markets within the assigned territory.
  • Experience supporting clinician candidate visits, relocation needs, onboarding, retention, and post-hire integration activities.
