9 daytime rounders
This medical facility is a referral center for trauma and emergency services and houses medical surgical units, a 34-bed closed ICU, a 42-bed emergency department, and 8 operating rooms.
Position Highlights:
1:1 Hospitalist to Nurse Coordinator. Dedicated nurse coordinator for rounding, interdisciplinary care coordination, discharging patients, family phone call updates, etc.
Collaborative team approach to patientcare. Monthly team meetings to review best practice
Clinical council to discuss group needs,policies, barriers
Strong Medical Directors leadership/support
Night shifts covered by nocturnist team

What youll bring:
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency training Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Healths credentialing/privileging process
Current BLS Certification is required before the first day of employment
