Qualifications

• Current or recent experience in an Emergency Department preferred; new graduates considered.
• Graduate of an approved medical school required.
• Completion of ACGME accredited residency training in Emergency Department program required.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine by the Oregon State Board of Medical Examiners (OSBME).
• MD or DO (Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required upon start.
• Must maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a range of cases based on the specialty in an acute care clinical setting.
• Provide care primarily in an acute care clinic or physician's office, excluding longitudinal care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in hospital programs for professional malpractice and liability coverage.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and federal program eligibility as a provider.
