What you'll be doing:- Providing direct medical care, examinations, diagnosis, treatment plans, and clinical follow-up
- Overseeing healthcare standards and operations within the facility
- Participating actively in treatment teams, clinical rounds, and patient care management
- Ensuring compliance with medical regulations, confidentiality, and accreditation standards
- Engaging closely with facility and healthcare staff, maintaining positive relationships with external hospitals and agencies
- Assisting in medical policy formulation, staff training, and ensuring optimal operational efficiency
- Taking occasional on-call responsibilities
Requirements:- MD degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license (or eligibility to obtain licensure) in California
- Board Certified Physician status strongly preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- Experience in clinical supervision and oversight, ideally in an institutional setting
- Commitment to high-quality care, collaboration, and effective communication
