Full Job Description
Job Duties: Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the heart, lungs, esophagus, and other organs in the
chest cavity. Perform surgical procedures, including valve replacement, aortic valve replacement, and heart-lung transplants. Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral. Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients and patients' family concerning treatment and care of patients.

Education Required: M.D. or D.O.
Other Requirements:
• License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
• Completion of a cardiothoracic surgery residency.
