Fellowship-Trained Breast RadiologistPosition Summary:
This role is a direct response to requests from our Breast Surgeons for a specialist to lead complex diagnostic workups and multidisciplinary care. You will join a high-caliber group of established Interventional Radiologists and diagnostic experts in a supportive, collegial environment with excellent work hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret screening and diagnostic mammograms (2D and 3D/tomosynthesis).
- Perform breast ultrasounds, MRI interpretations, and a full suite of image-guided procedures (stereotactic, ultrasound, MRI-guided biopsies, and localizations).
- Collaborate closely with Breast Surgeons and Oncologistson complex cases and multidisciplinary tumor boards.
- Engage in community outreachto promote education, early diagnosis, and the latest advancements in intervention.
- Support the expansion ofclinical trialsby providing the specialized expertise and manpower needed for cutting-edge IR and diagnostic protocols.
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree; Board Certified/Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Completion of an accredited Breast Imaging Fellowship.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Louisiana.
- Strong interest in multidisciplinary collaboration and community-based medicine.
