Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA state license and certification.
• Prior experience in orthopedics, especially spine preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in team settings.
• Willingness to travel to various sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations.
• Round on patients while they are in the hospital.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests like X-rays and MRIs.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about treatments and post-operative care.
• Serve as a first assistant in the operating room for spine cases.
• Manage pre-operative assessments in clinic.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide weekend hospital coverage.
