Full Job Description
Physician Assistants at VSI are integral clinical partners who work side-by-side with spine surgeons, across the full continuum of care, including the OR. We are seeking standout, driven, and intellectually curious PAs who take pride in mastery and want to practice at the highest level.

Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for spine patients in the office
  • Interpretation of advanced imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, labs)
  • High-level patient education using imaging, models, and individualized counseling
  • First-assist responsibilities in complex spinal procedures, including discectomy, disc replacement, spinal fusion, instrumentation, detailed anatomic dissection, and wound closure
  • Participation in technologically advanced spine surgery incorporating robotics, augmented reality, and AI-driven planning and execution
  • Direct patient communication, including daily follow-up and care coordination
  • Medication management with thoughtful, evidence-based prescribing
  • Preventative care and education related to musculoskeletal health and osteoporosis
  • Active collaboration within a multidisciplinary, high-performing team (spine surgery, regenerative medicine, physiatry, neurology, and anesthesia pain management)
