Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY Mori, Bean and Brooks (MBB) is currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to work in collaboration with a supervising physician. The candidate assists in providing procedure-based radiology services in both hospital and clinic-based practice setting, such services to include but not be limited to pre-procedure evaluation and preparation of patients undergoing interventional or other image guided radiologic procedures, evaluation of patients in consultation, inpatient hospital rounds, and long-term patient follow-up. The candidate will represent the practice in interactions with hospital staff, referring clinicians, patients, and the health care community in general. This position is Monday-Friday, providing weekday and weekend coverage call as set forth/determined by PA Utilization Committee or management. This role includes three days weekly at Baptist Medical Center Nassau (Fernandina Beach, FL) and two days in the Jacksonville metro area. We offer a competitive base salary which can be enhanced by taking call in the hospital, generous PTO, full complement of benefits to include health insurance and 401k. DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE * Board certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) * Current license and certificate of authority to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Florida required * BLS AND ACLS certification required COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $110,000-$130,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
