Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM, seven days a week
Compensation: $60-$80 per hour, based on experience, plus bonus opportunities

Position SummaryNextCare is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Golden, Colorado.
This role is a great fit for a clinician who values variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while working in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.
Full-time clinicians typically work three 12-hour shifts per week, allowing them to be off more days than they work. Monthly schedules are released in advance, and there are no after-hours charting or follow-up responsibilities.
You will be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real-time guidance and mentorship. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low-acuity presentations that keep your skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
Required Qualifications- Active, unrestricted Colorado license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Nurse Practitioners must hold ANCC or AANP certification as an FNP
- Physician Assistants must hold active NCCPA certification
- Active DEA license or ability to obtain
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain; fees are covered
Preferred Qualifications- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
- Strong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Experience with initial X-ray interpretation before radiology over-read
