Full Job Description
Location: 7380 West 52nd Avenue, Arvada, CO 80002 - Cross Streets: W. 52nd Ave. & N. Wadsworth Blvd.
Status:Full-Time
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM -- 8:00 PM, seven days a week
Compensation: $60-$80/hour (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus

Position Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time clinician to join our team in Arvada, CO. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment.

You'll be supported by experienced clinical teams, strong peer relationships, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership who provide real-time guidance and mentorship. The work is engaging and varied, with a broad patient population and generally low-acuity presentations that keep skills sharp without the pressure of inpatient follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
  • Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
  • Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
  • Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
  • Code and bill services appropriately
  • Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
  • Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values


Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Colorado license for NP | PA
  • Board certification or eligibility, as applicable
    • PA: NCCPA certification
    • NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)
  • Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
  • Ability to treat patients of all ages
  • Active BLS certification
  • EHR proficiency
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
  • DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)


Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
  • Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
  • Experience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-read
