FTE: 1.0, Shift: Variable, Schedule: Monday - Friday MultiCare Health System is seeking an experienced Surgical First Assist Physician Assistant to join skilled Women's Careline team! • Work closely with a highly skilled and collaborative team supporting 24 surgeons across multiple MultiCare sites including Good Samaritan, Auburn, Allenmore, Tacoma General, Baker Center and Gig Harbor • Growing service in MIGS, Urogynecology, and complex GYN procedures, including combined cases with Colorectal surgery • This role offers exposure to high-volume, diverse case mix, strong physician partnerships, and the opportunity to be part of a fast-growing, respected surgical program in a dynamic team environment • Monday - Friday, shift based compensation model of 180 (10) hour shifts per year • Great work-life balance with no weekends, call, or clinic responsibilities #LI-SK1 Position Summary PA specializing in Women’s Health/Gynecologic Surgical Assisting. Provides surgical first assist in the OR for a wide variety of gynecologic cases. Responsibilities • Provides surgical first assist in the operating room and may include rounding on patients pre and post operatively. • Document all patient interactions accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR) inclusive of direct patient encounters and asynchronous care. • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical education, and interdisciplinary team meetings. • Collaborate with surgeon and OR care team throughout surgical case. • Complete peri-operative and quality improvement tasks as assigned. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $174,300.00 - $189,000.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
