Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday to Friday, four days per week, 10-hour shifts (0700 - 1700). Rotating procedural and clinic schedule with a potential need for future 1:6 weekend rotation with two call shifts per week every six weeks. You will work at University Hospital and UPH-Meriter

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and outpatient care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Physician Assistant - Electrophysiology Procedural to:
  • Be an active member of the cross-functional team, by providing comprehensive care to both well and ill adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and procedural settings at University Hospital and UnityPoint Health - Meriter.
  • Manage pre and post procedure patients: cardiac ablations, device-based procedures, extractions, cardioversions, and implantable loop recorders, as well as inpatient consults.
  • First assist with pacemaker device placements, generator replacements, ablation procedures, lead extractions, and lead revisions. Independently perform cardioversions, loop recorder implantations, and loop explants.
  • Perform independent clinic visits (local and regional) for electrophysiology patients.

Education:

Minimum -
  • Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Masters from Accredited PA program

If Physician Assistant:
• Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND
• Active PA board certification

Physician Assistant must have:
• Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
